Spring 2024 Wiegand Memorial Scholarship

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

For the 2024 Spring Semester, TLD will be awarding scholarships up to $1,500.00 each.  Applicants must be a current employee, independent contractor, or the child (stepchild) of an employee or independent contractor.  Applicants must have a GPA of a 3.0 or greater and be enrolled in a college or university for the 2024 Spring Semester.  The scholarship will be awarded and paid directly to the institution. 

Qualifications: Scholarship will be awarded based on scholastic achievement while maintaining full time status.  Applicant must show high character and integrity.  This scholarship will be awarded without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, equal pay, disability, or genetic information.

Eligibility: Applicant must be a current employee or independent contractor, or the child (stepchild) of a current employee or independent contractor at TLD Logistics at the time of award.

How to Apply: Submit application to TLD Logistics Services, 1300 Everett Road, Knoxville, TN  37932, by January 26, 2024. You can download the PDF, print/complete, and then mail back to our address or scan the document and send via email to [email protected].


The amount of the scholarship will be up to $1,500.00 for the semester per recipient.  The employee or independent contractor attributed to this scholarship must be actively working for TLD Logistics at the time of award.  TLD Logistics will mail the scholarship check directly to the college or university for distribution.  Scholarship monies are to be used for tuition purposes only.

The scholarship will be voided on the basis of expulsion or dismissal from school or discontinuance of the education process.  The scholarship may also be voided if the student does not maintain full-time status or his/her GPA drops below 3.0, and /or if the employee or independent contractor is no longer employed by TLD Logistics.  TLD Logistics Services reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship at their discretion.
