TEAM TN is a partnership with the National Science Foundation and is an alliance of academics, industry, and technical societies, led by The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. One of the goals of TEAM TN is to position Tennessee as a pioneer of transportation electrification and digitization while reducing reliance on carbon-intensive energy sources, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, and creating a more equitable transportation system.
In July 2024, TLD Logistics—a partner with the organization—was highlighted on their website. Asked why TLD partnered with the organization, TLD’s Morgan Thompson responded:
“We joined TEAM TN to work alongside industry experts who are working on similar sustainability solutions to ensure TLD is making the best decisions on new technologies that make the most sense economically and environmentally.”
