Our Customer Account Coordinators work with customer stakeholders. Tasks include order building, scheduling pickup and delivery appointments, providing shipment updates and assisting the account representative team in other daily tasks. The applicant will:
- Interact with customer stakeholders
- Interact with partner carriers to provide tracking and tracing
- Multitask between various forms of communication (email, phone, text, IM)
- Prioritize operational tasks throughout the day
- Focus on attention to detail
- Rely on sense of urgency around time sensitive requests
- Request pick-up and delivery appointments (phone, email, and websites)
- Rely on individual critical thinking skills to assist with day-to-day logistics events
- Work with direct manager to provide customer quotes
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Working conditions cover a range of circumstances from weekdays, evening, and weekends
Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or above
- Experience in logistics or transportation
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Good organizational, verbal, and written skills a must
- Ability to focus and multi-task, detail oriented
