Salary averages between $42 – 45k (based on experience) plus commissions

What you will be doing:
- Manage a network of Drayage carriers and develop relationships to meet growth goals
- Function as the intermediary between sales, carriers, shippers, and receivers
- Establish partnerships with intermodal carriers by providing first in class customer service
- Collaborate with our Sales Specialists on freight market rating and carrier management
- Use current market conditions and technology to provide capacity
- Resolve transportation issues that occur during transit
- Negotiate rates with carriers in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong communication skills
- Provide timely container tracking and tracing updates
- Multitask between various forms of communication (email, phone, text, IM)
- Rely on a sense of urgency to prioritize tasks throughout the day
Required Skills & Abilities
- Intermodal and dray experience preferred
- 1 to 2 years of logistics related operations and/or customer service experience
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Goal-oriented personality and attention to detail mindset
- Strong email, phone, and face-to-face communication skills
