Spring 2023 Wiegand Memorial Scholarship

Previous scholarship recipients. This year TWO scholarships of $1,500 each will be awarded.
Coming in time for the 2023 spring semester; The Wiegand Memorial Scholarship. This $1,500.00 scholarship will be awarded to any currently employed driver, or their child/step-child with a 3.0 or greater GPA who will be enrolled in any college or university for the 2023 Spring Semester. The scholarship will be awarded and paid directly to the university in one increment of $1,500.00. For the 2023 spring semester, TLD will be awarding TWO scholarships of $1,500.00 each; one for a company employee and one for an independent contractor.
Qualifications: Scholarship will be awarded based on scholastic achievement while maintaining full time status. Applicant must show high character and integrity. This scholarship will be awarded without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, equal pay, disability, or genetic information.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a driver or child/step-child of a driver currently employed at TLD Logistics at the time of award.

Application Deadline: Physical applications must be delivered by 4pm on Friday, December 16, 2022. Online applications must also be submitted by 4pm on Friday, December 16, 2022.
Scholarship Amount: The total amount of the scholarship will be $1,500.00 for a company employee and $1,500.00 for an Independent Contractor. The driver attributed to this scholarship must be employed by TLD Logistics at the time of award. TLD Logistics will mail the scholarship check directly to the college or university for distribution. Scholarship monies are to be used for tuition purposes only.

**The scholarship will be voided on the basis of expulsion or dismissal from school or discontinuance of the education process. The scholarship may also be voided if the student does not maintain full-time status or his/her GPA drops below 3.0, and /or if the driver is no longer employed by TLD Logistics. TLD Logistics Services reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship at their discretion.
